K20A3 H2 guys, question?
I know there arent many of you (only one that comes to mind is Jimmy?), what are you making power and torque wise? I would imagine a chart would likely be too much to ask, but if you have them and would be willing to share that would be awesome!
Just curious, Thanks!

Here is my graph, i have a long fairly detailed build thread in the 92-00 civic forum on k20a

That is uncorrected.
SAE it made 155whp and 135 or 134ft/tq i can't remember exactly.
Bob Gill was the first to put the motor in. He hasn't, last i talked to him, got to those numbers yet, although we were doing testing on IM and header combos i lucked out and what i went with made better power.

a2 to a3.... i look at it like this... the a3 is what GM would have built and is all they could get out of a 2.0l motor and the a2 is what honda does... ahahahahaha

Right on, it'd be interesting as hell to have almost every H2 engine choice racing (McKinney/Karl = H22, Spencer/Eric = GSR, Rich/Me = ITR, Shane/Zephyr = B16, just missing the D-series, K20A3, and CTR)
We have/had at one point
b16a
b18c1
b18c5
B18b
K20a3
H22a/h23

Really really cool to see the huge diversity in H2.
Zephyr is a twin cam d-series (similar to a zc) but for the most part its all 1.8s up here. 2 d16, 4 c1, 3c5, 1h22. And we have almost every generation of honda covered.
actualy, we do have a guy that was running h4, now running h2 with a single cam crx thats lighter than an empty beer can.
sander-thats what i wanna hear. get out there and get your race on!
are u gonna run h2 with that bad boy or do some stuff to it and run PTgAy

So a while back a guy emailed me with some questions regarding the a3 swap and how it works out for H2. I answered his questions and affored more help.
Get a call from this guy tonight and he is actually doing it. Bought a preatty crazy caged 94 DC integra and just picked up the swap. Now hes getting all the small stuff lined up.
Im pretty sure hes in the NE as he mentioned he has ran pocono many times, also mentioned VIR.
Thats your guys neck of the woods right?
Pretty cool that there will soon maybe be 4 K20a3 swaps.

Is that little pipe attached to the rear subframe legal? Im sure they went over the car and made sure all the cool stuff is removed. I like the front fender widening too.
After going through all the pictures so many things need to be removed. for H2
Awesome cage.

4.9 Roll Cage
All cars shall have a NASA CCR-compliant roll cage. Additionally,
a) Any number of additional mounting points may be used.
b) Any number of additional tubes may be used, even for chassis stiffening.
c) Any size mounting plate may be used, subject to material and minimum specifications in the
NASA CCR.
But my reading of the rules is that the 4.9.a/b allows this, and it doesn't even require the +30lbs that gusseting would give you.
lol

That car looks BEAST!
bring it!! i'll run rings around that thing! j/k thats a nice lookin chassis. those bars on the rear subframe are not legal. those would have to go. probably more but i didn't go through the pix that closely.
i look forward to racing with you next season, dude!! i'm already thinking about a north east vs mid-atlantic battle. maybe at hyperfest, maybe a different summit event. hyperfest will be the east coast show down!!
