How much to budget ????
I have a 4-door '97 Accord 5-spd EX OBD-2 and I'm saving for an H22 swap.
Thinking about getting it from http://www.hondamotorsonline.com or http://www.mahdavimotorsports.com for about $2400.
Shouldn't take me too long to save up.. figure about 2 months.. I can keep you guys posted on how well it goes and the problems I run into.
I will more than likely have to buy an intake (thinking 3" ICEMAN) and a good header (any recommendations ?).
How much in your experience should I budget to do this swap (to have it done and running perfectly) ?
Any help is appreciated.

I've talked to people with part bills (to cover stuff that broken, missing, etc) approach $1000. So add that to cost of the swap and the quoted labor (if you're havingit done professionally).
about 4K is what I am told. but I have no first hand experience.

Shop around and see what you can find. I found a 2000 H22 5spd NON-SH complete swap this past week for $2800 shipped!! It has only 1679 miles too! I found it on http://www.car-part.com . It came from Leesville Auto in NJ. It is the complete engine, trans, axles, spindles, calipers, shifter cables and shifter itself, ecu,etc etc. It is OBD II of course. I am going into a 97 SE AT coupe with it.
Hey guys that have done this swap you did use a manual accord harness on the H22 right? I have done many civic swaps but this is a first for me when it comes to Accords. If so I will need to source a manual engine harness 'cause mine isn't. I wish that you could change the plugs on the Prelude harness and use the ones off the accord harness. That would make it a plug and play of some sort. I am an electrical engineer so that wouldn't be out of the question but I know from earlier posts that it will not work. It must not reach or something... Good luck and let me know if you need any help sourcing an engine.....

Any good headers out there for a prelude ?
DC is not on the top of my list. Kamikazee maybe ?? What about the SMSP header or whatever it was called (don't recall).
