Default EG half-rad in EF - searched

Sorry if this has been covered before...

I searched, couldn't find any good info...
Is there a way to make the EG half-rad fit without the "gangsta lean" that I have heard so much about?

My buddy made custom mounts at the bottom to lower his with diamond plate the made a custom top bracket, and cut some webbing out of his hood. It fits okay.

I made my own traction bar, mine sits PERFECT...

You want it to fit right with the stock cross member, it ain't gonna happen because it is taller.

why can't you just use that one bent radiator bracket? i'll try to find a pic of it. you can always use a good drill and some tapcons to put that bitch in there. thats what i'm planning on using.

On my first experiment this without using a traction bar, I cut part of the buttom core support out so the radiator sat a little lower in the car, only had to lean it a little bit for it to fit, or you can smash in part of the hood.

As you said before, not with stock parts, you can make it look pretty decent but nothing like it would look with a traction bar setup. And for the extra 250 bucks, it's worth it to get the traction bar that has 1/2 radiator mounts and the clearance for a larger size header, i.e 4-1 or turbo downpipe.

my bad on the name calling, I was tired as fawk, also I don't care if you think I am important or not. But did you actually understand what his question was? You posted him a link to a top mount radiator stay. That doesn't help him if the radiator won't fit with stock parts and no "gangster lean"
