heating problem.....
i was driving back from work in my 89 ef si with a 1997 gsr swap.....and the traffic was to slow so i was driving so so slow....and my heating needle went to the H in 5 minutes so i had to stop in a parking lot,i checked my antifreeze and it was ok.......is there anybody can help me please my ef is my only ride to work....thanks
sounds like an over heating problem. is you fan turning on?
When you car is at normal operating temperature feel the two hoses on the radiator, the bottom hose will be hot and pressurized if the thermostat is good, if its cold its bad.

i think u meant "psychic" lol, n to the OP... He's right, since u said ur coolant level is normal, we need to know if the fans come on n if the t-stat is opening. These are 2 basic things to diagnosing overheating. No need to get irritated, we can figure this out in no time.
Sounds like your fan isn't turning on.
Start your car and let it idle in your driveway. If your temp gauge gets higher then halfway up without your fan kicking on, that is the problem.
If it doesn't turn on, check your fuse, make sure the fan is plugged in fully and if both these things check out, use a multimeter to check for power at the fan.If the fan is getting power, it is time to replace it.
