Dealer won't allow test drives?
I'm from the Hamilton area up in Canada. I have asked a number of dealers to test drive a new s2k and they said it's not allowed because they don't want miles put on them. Apparently they are calling it a collector car. I drove in with my itr so he said he knew I wasn't just wasting his time. "He just couldn't take out the s2k."
Would anyone be willing to take me for a ride in their s2k? I have a quick itr and I could return the favour. That would be alot better than buying the car and realizing that the car is not for me.

I offered my visa, and I am 29, married and a mortgage free homeowner. Also I think it's worth noting that my itr had 67km on it when I picked it up in 98. Really gentle miles I'm sure. I just think it's alittle rediculous. So I'm off to find a used one, Thanks.
PM me. Maybe we can set something up i'm in the Mississauga area.
I have a benson sleeved 85mm civic as well, i wouldn't mind checking out your ITR.

Thats ****ed up, your a customer looking to buy a S2K and they're worried about their other 25 S2K's on the floor not being able to sell yet they don't want miles on them
you should sue. If that were the case, they should at least put one test drive S2K.

They let me test drive mine because I told them I was paying cash and was ready to buy that day. Lol they had it inside and even moved cars out of the way to open the doors and get it out.
wait what dealer has 25 s2ks in stock?
Same deal when i went to a dealer, but they had 2-3 used ones available for test drive so i just drive one of those, seems like she said if they checked my credit and was at all serious they would be willing to pull out a brand new one from the garage for me.
