Go to a junkyard and find a good one, or hit up eBay for one and swap it in yourself. It will cost a ton less.

junk yard units 50 to 100.00, ebay rebuilt 140.00, be sure to match numbers on tcu carefully, all look same but are not.

ok...thank you very much for this...i have one more question...im on ebay and i have found a tcm that has been taken out of a 1990 honda accord lx...and instead of PXO-823 (the one i need for my car) it is PXO-822....my question is can i use the one from the 1990 honda accord or should i just stick with my model number (PXO-823) only.

it may work and it may not , i know that from experience that they will not all interchange, i would stick with the same thing thats in the car, the information you can throw any of them in there is wrong, been ther done that. 1990 is not the same as the 92-93 , but its your car and you did ask. some times a close number as you described will work but if you cant find someone in the know why take a chance??
