hi i have a 91 accord atutomatic. i did the self dignostic and there were 7 blinks. i searched and there were diff answers. wat does the 7 blinks mean. and wat part do i need. by the way i lready bought a tcu so i know thats not the problem. all hlp is good hlp. thanks

 

What light was blinking when you did the check. The D4 light or the Check engine light?

A code 7 from the CEL = TPS sensor problems.
A code 7 from the D4 light = Problem with shift control solenoid A.

 

isnt the d4 light and s light the same? and which solenoid is a and which is b

 

S & D4? Sure why not, but the D4 and Check engine light are not the same. D4 is transmission related and the check engine light (CEL) is PGM-FI related (ECU & engine sensors)
