Well on the USDM 5th Gen Accord, the A11 & A6 ecu pins are backward, so you'll need to depinn those wires and swap them or just cut and splice then solder. This is what you'll have to do if you plan on using the p28 on the US model otherwise it'll run rough and throw a CEL.

Code 21 & 22 are VTEC codes. Is this a stock P28 or is it chipped and able to be tuned? The P28 is a 1.6L SOHC VTEC ECU. In order for it to run a Non VTEC engine. You will need to disable the VTEC via tuning software.

Code 21 & 22 wouldn't cause your enigne to shut down. Sounds like it could be a fuel or ignition issue. I'm not sure how well a stock P28 will run a DOHC 2.2L. Is your ECU chipped? It could be that the stock P28 fuel and ignition maps aren't allowing the F22B to run properly. Do you have access to a tuning facility?

P.S.

I haven't forgetten about the Accord pinouts for you ether. I haven't been on my laptop yet. I'll make sure I take a few minutes tonight to email them to you.

I would get a obd1 tunable non vtec ecu and I forgot which ecu it is; it might be the p06(non vtec) I believe unless I'm retarded since I can't think right now.
