H22 valve locknut size? 10mm or 12mm?
As the title says .... I wanted to make a DIY valve adjustment tool from an old socket or spanner but cant find the size of the locknut on any of the how to guides. I could take my valve cover off to check but am hoping someone here knows?
Thanks
Thanks
I believe its 10mm.... but whilst im on the subject are most hondas 10mm. I just read somewhere that non vtec hondas are 12mm?
The lude is a 10mm. I have a nonvtec accord also at home which is also a 10mm but I believe an LS I did a valve adjustment on was a 12mm, correct me if I am wrong.
Well heres how the tool came out...
I found an old 10mm ring spanner and chopped the head off

Weld the head on at this angle

and hey presto...

I also had a broken spanner kicking about which I used to make a turning handle for it.

Its not pretty but should work
