EK9 Pistons in EK4
yes you can, b16's have a far smaller stroke than gsr's and ls's your compression ratio will be no where near as high as 1.8 motors. cp ratio should be right at 11:1. you should always get your car tuned crome will do the job for something so basic.
Okey.
I`m going to a trackday in the end of the month, and I`m thinking about putting them in this weekend.
So, just to be sure: I can put these in and drive safely without tuning?
Anyone here who has done the same thing?

my suggestion is no it is not safe. higher compression and stock valves and rods can lead to a blown motor. my cousin did this on a gsr and now his rod is sticking out of his block.
what ecu does your car currently have? I would say NO to taking the car to the track you need to get a tune.
Put your specs in there. It says your pistons will be out of the hole. It also says your CR is 11.91:1.

You can physically put the CTR pistons in a B16a, and it will most likely start. You WILL run into problems with engine longevity without a good tune. The engine may not last more than one full throttle run. It would be a very bad idea to go to a track day with CTR pistons in a B16a without a tune.
