Hey guys im going to be buying a CRX to replace my pain in the *** Miata and i was wondering if some one could point me in the direction of a good buyers guide. Im interested in, gross vehicle weights engine specs ( even though its going to get swapped ) and most importantly changes in the suspension between year models.

What else are you looking for? It covers weights and everything you need to know.

All the suspensions are the same. Almost everything is interchangeable if not all of it.

If the page I provided was not adequate then check out the FAQ's at the top, only other option you got.

 

88's have a different rear lca but like dephtone said everything is interchangeable. i wouldnt be worried as much about specs as i would the condition of the body. everything thing else can be upgraded.

 

Small changes like that are the things im interested in. Iv heard that the LCA n the '88s cause the car to have better handling but most of the after market coil overs are made to work with the '89 and later design so I would have to change these eventually. How much did the weights change over the years?
