I have a 2006 civic si. i recently got a skunk2 fuel rail and unfortunately, i got it off ebay and well, it didnt come with the crush washer or the self sealing aluminum cap. i tried to improvise a little, but the rod that comes out of the intake manifold to hold the i vtec cover gets in the way, does that thing come off? or is it immovable?

 

its removable. its just a screw in stud. and also, composite fuel rails from skunk2 are known to leak.

 

did you get the k series fuel rail or is it the specific 2006+ civic fuel rail?

the k series fuel rail is missing parts that you need to buy from the dealer to make it work. also need to modify the rail by removing some part of it.

 

i unfortunately got the one for the k series, not compatible for the Z3, i'm thinkin i might just sell it, i heard the fuel rail has problems with leaks. plus i need the money. Any takers??

 

why did you get the fuel rail in the first place? don't say you got it for the shiny color.
