PROBLEM!!! Greddy SP Exhaust scraping ground? Any ideas??
Alright, i have my tein suspension kit on, it is lowered and i put the new rubber bushings on to hold the suspension up. Well the exhaust is still scraping the ground now even worse, and i am thinking it is more the 92-95 civic header that i have on there. Does anyone know if the 92-95 header sits any lower than the 88-91 header? I need to know, my expensive exhaust is in need of help. Also the hangers that are on my resonater pipe from my new exhaust are on the upper side of the pipe, should i try to turn it upside down, making the hangers on the bottom of the resonator pipe closer to the ground instead of the hangers being closer to the car(which is how it is now). These are my last 2 possibilities.
Thanks,
Matt

No the problem is that even when i did not even have the new susp. kit on it STILL scraped the ground. That is why i am asking about the header being a different height than the 88-91 header. That is what i really need to know. If i have to put a new header on then, i will, i just do not want my greddy exhaust to mess up. I just do not want to spend anymore money on a motor that i will more than likely not keep. Anyone understand? hope so.

ok i just put this on my car this week, you have the middle pipe upside down...lol...the canister should be facing upward...

alright, i will try doing this tomorrow. But i am not sure if the rubber mount can hold it up if i do that, I already had a hell of a problem trying to get it on the way that it was. But i will try this, i probably have the canister wrong as well as the different header screwing things up. I appreciate everyones input.

well not only is the canister wrong, and the resonator will not be able to go the other way with being able to bolt my exhaust up. So i need to get an actual 88-91 crx header instead of the 92-95, so the 92-95 header is taller than the 88-91. Does anyone have one for sale?? IF not i am goin to have to order a new one.

I had a 92-95 header on my rex. If you were looking at it from the rear of the car the header sat about an inch and a half down and to the right of where the exhaust was. Get one for the proper year and you should be fine. Anyone want a Kamikaze 4-1 header for a 92-95 civic?
