Default 00 civic si brake Q:

i just got new brake pads installed about a month ago and they have been driving fine till last week. theres black dust coming off the rotor or something to do with the brakes because i can hear a rubbing sound everytime i hit the brakes.. its not the pads because they are new and alot of pad is left on it.. can't explain whats going on any ideas?

it reminds me of when my brake caliper upper bolt broke
every time i braked it would lean forward and rub the **** out of my rim. maybe wen u got them changed they over torqued the bolt and it finally gave.
check that.
