Is this going to happen this year or what? And i know it wasnt at starved rock last year it was at matthiessen state park, which was still a great time and just down the road. I am hoping this is gonna happen because my car will finally be done by then and would like to take it to a BIG meet

As of now we are trying to set something up at one of the parks in the area, it is a big park, and if they are willing to let us use the park we WILL be having a large meet there, plus there are great twisties close by there also.

The park i was hoping to get permission didnt happen, i am now looking for another park maybe around central illinois. IF ANYBODY KNOWS A BIG PARK AND WILL GIVE US PERMISSION IN CENTRAL ILLINOIS, PLEASE LET ME KNOW

Hey guys, I did the meet at Matthessien last year, in talks with them to get the meet back at starved rock this year, but it will likely need to be later in the year like it was two years ago if we are back at Starved Rock due to the high traffic they experience at the park during fall for the color change of the trees. I haven't posted much on the topic cause I'm still working with the people who run the park to set it up and didn't wanna have to make changes to it like last year and have people miss out. I will hopefully have things set in stone with them here soon. I didn't forget all of you.

But yeah, I think more parking is needed. Last year everyone was split up...I mean it wasn't very far but still. And then the cops were giving us trouble for parking in the grass.

Yeah, that was a 6 of one half dozen of the other. So unfortunately I think we are going to have to push back into Late Oct early Nov to get back into starved rock.

The flooding that helped push us out last year as hot let up since then either. Lets just hope the rain is overwith for the season!!!
