Default B16 weird engine sound...please help.

I have a 99 honda civic lx automatic that i just completed a b16a2 engine swap and 5 speed conversion....i used the si engine harness so i would not have to wire in the knock sensor and vtec or change the iacv sensors. Just plan on hard wiring the secondary o2 sensor. The car runs really good and pulls hard. It has a megan racing header, test pipe, cat back exhaust, walbro fuel pump and fujita cold air intake....my only concern is that the car pulls hard and engine runs smooth but when i take off the car kind of sounds like a subaru but not as deeps of a sound and at high rpm's it sounds normal, espically when vtec kicks in. I have not changed the spark plugs or wires and the timing has never been messed with and i know the car is not running on 3 cylinders. What could be the cause of this? Maybe the exhaust system or the plugs and wires or a bad injector? I don't know the history of the engine so I am not for sure if it has different cams in it or not but the motor only has 70,000 miles on it...Please give any advice that you can. Thanks.

When you find out let me know too, my hatch with the B18B sounds like that, runs great but sounds like a Ru! Kind of annoying.

if the car runs really good and pulls hard...there's not a problem. Don't worry about how it sounds. If it sounds deep like a subaru then you are lucky. If there was a problem it would run like crap and not pull worth crap. i'd say leave it, be happy, and go on with your new swapped honda.

Yeah, i know....it is one of those things you are afraid of because honda's only sound like subaru's when they are running on 3 cylinders...lol. Just curious, don't want to low it up...took about a week total to swap the motor, convert it to a 5 speed and wiring in the clutch safety switch and reverse lights switch, just have to wire in the secondary o2 sensor. Thanks for the comment though.
