Default Air conditioning blowing fog intermittently?

In my 2003 Civic EX coupe this morning, I noticed some fog blowing from the A/C vents. It still blows cold and only does this for about 10-20 seconds at a time and will then stop. I'm guessing there might be a thermostat or pressure valve that is malfunctioning.

Has anyone else experienced this? How did you diagnose the cause of the problem? Thank you in advance for any replies.

chawski is right, if conditions are right, when the compressor cycles off and then back on, some of the humidity that the a/c evaporator removes from your cabin air is released back into the stream as water vapor. Nothing to be concerned about.

Thanks for the replies. When I saw the fog I thought "How much is this going to cost?" Glad I don't need to worry about it.
