Icon2 ZC won't catch

Alright, So I bought a non-running '88 Hatch with a DOHC ZC swapped in when I was home for leave from Iraq. And obviously, I'm having a problem. Also, yes, I have searched, but thanks for the recommendation.

When I got the car, it wouldn't so much as turn over, not even once. Well, yesterday was my first full day home, and I went out to work on it. The car will now turn over, but it won't fire up. It isn't throwing any codes, I have all 3 clicks on my main relay, I've tried switching the white wires to the dizzy, and I get nothing. It is turbo'd, and it has 2 underhood boost gauges, and on occasion, one (at the fuel filter) will read about 10, but the other by the fuel rail still reads 0. There are no kinks that I've found between them, and the hoses are pretty much new.

Anyone have a similar problem?
Anyone have any ideas?

And this is a little off topic, but I don't think flooding with new threads is good, but does anyone know where I might find a CF Stock style spoiler? I can't find one anywhere.

Sounds like one is a fuel presure gauge and if its only reading 10psi that is a problem with the fuel pump

Thanks, that'll be the next thing I check, just as soon as it stops raining.

I don't understand why the vehicle would have boost gauges under the hood.. Are they hooked to vacuum lines? I only ask because of where you said they are located. That sounds more like they would be fuel pressure gauges. If they are BOOST gauges you should only get vacuum while cranking or at idle. It shouldn't jump into positive pressure at all. If while cranking it sounds to be turning really fast you wouldn't even get vacuum. That would indicate to me that the timing belt is broke or you skipped a few teeth. Either one is really bad. If the gauges are fuel pressure then you should definately have more than 10 psi of pressure. I'd be looking for more like 40 psi when you turn on the key. Plus you should be able to hear the pump prime. If you have 0 fuel pressure then the car isn't going to start either. You would need to start by checking the fuses and relay for the pump. If they are good I'd check power and ground at the pump. If still good chances are you need a pump. Given if this is the issue at all. Any time a vehicle cranks and won't start you need to check the 4 things you need to run. Air, fuel, spark, timing (compression).

Yes, my apologies, they are fuel pressure gauges. And the one at the fuel pump only reads 10 psi intermittently. All of my fuses are good, as I replaced them all yesterday. It seems the the fuel pump is the source of my troubles right now. Thanks for your suggestions.
