I recently got some F2 Type I for my TL and i was wondering if anyone could please let me know how to adjust the height on the suspension. From what i understand is that the lower gold locking nut towards the bottom of the shock is loosened and then the whole shock is then either adjusted up or down depending on your preference, once adjusted then you would make sure that the gold nut is re-tightened and make sure that the bottom portion of the shock will not move or not have any play in it what so ever. The top 2 Red perches are NOT TO BE messed with thus is the preload on the suspension! Only is the small gold nut on the bottom to be loosened and adjusted? Please some one help me on this topic. I want to make sure that i am correct before i actually install the suspension better to be safe than sorry...!

^^^Thanks i figured it was like that just wanted to make sure that way i dont messed the preload up ya heardd...

 

does anybody know what spring rates the type 1s have it doesn't say on the website i got some for a 95 civic and it seem like nobody knows

How would you adjust these when they are on the car? Would you have to take them off and do it this way? I like the design of the other ones where you can adjust height by raising the part the spring sits on.

 

jack up the car use the wrenches, loosen the bottom one and repeat all around
