91 civic went from dp to mpfi and a jdm b16 swap went in. all wireing is correct . but has a shitty low idle and shity throttle responce. timing belt is dead on but cannt get dizzy timing correct. motor was bought used and dont kow much about it. it told it has itr cams. and some kind of aftermarket retainers. i think the head was was decked to much and now timing is really off. please let me kno what yous think.
I had that exact problem bro. I went on and swapped the IaV sensor on the back of the manifold and that fixed my Idle. My throttle esponse turned out to be a shot TPS. It runs like a Honda now.
As to my knowledge Decking the block/head will make your timing belt a little looser but not bump the timing out. I could be wrong but I had a ZC milled to sht and never had the timing off.
