What aftermarket paints have you found that come close to matching Rio Red or even faded Rio Red? What brand and color name?

You can go to a place that sells automotive paint and get rio red. There is a little shop by me that carries everything from lambos to hondas. All paint colors and samples.

Do you need a whole can of paint or stuff for touch up?

I bought Jazz red from ebay that i am about to spray mine. Looks close to being the same except it has white and red pearl.

X2 it matched my car perfectly!!! and its rustoleum! the only bad part is, it gets darker every year so it might be good to hit it with some clear coat for preservation.

 

really darker every year? mine turns a tad bit lighter over a year, i know this because i recently did another portion of my car and i can slightly see the difference.

I paid 50 for a gallon of Jazz red and another 50 for hardener and reducer. So i wont have much in my paint after tape,paper, primer.

i paid $8 for 1 quart of sunrise red and $20 in materials to mask and thin paint. laid 2 coats in 1 hour and completely dry in ~8 hours. wallah! im not bashing or completing or anything, im just saying.

 

did my bumper, hood, and roof in the sunrise red match pretty good. don't worry about the fender it was a bad color choice.

I bought some Rio Red years ago and still have the spraycan. Matches perfectly. You can also buy it with a flex agent for the bumpers and such.
