Strut/Shocks recommendations???
Whats up hondaHEADS lol.. I have just ran into some problems with one of my shocks... I walk around the back of my 93 civic and push down on the REAR RIGHT side of the car and it sqweeks like no tomorrow. Its so damn annoying. I have a GSR suspension with Skunk 2 Springs, and at the moment i have KYB shocks but not sure what kind. P.S. the back looks lower then the front.. is there n e thing i can do for the ride height in the back as well as for the problem of the one shock in the rear.??? My guess is replace that one Shock or all four...??? I DONT KNOW what should i do... Just need some advice and if i have to replace all of them whats the best way to go without killing my wallet.. But i still want my car to have a nice ride... thanks guys in advance for the input
i doubt GSR shocks will work... But im no suspension guru...
Replacing one is pointless... Do it right and swap all four out...
Get some cheap NAME BRAND springs with a modest drop and install them with the KYBs if they are actually for the del sol...
good luck... hope that helps

If the ride height problem is from the springs, then to correct it you would need to either get coilovers for at least the rear or a full set of new springs. A couple other rare problems can also screw up the ride height. One example would be the wrong struts so check the part #'s on the ones you have. If you haven't yet, you'll want to confirm that the squeaking is coming from the shock or you might be disappointed when they're replaced. Shocks should be replaced in pairs- both fronts, both rears. If both fronts are perfectly fine then there's probably no need to replace them with the rears. KYB's are some of the best shocks but everyone has their own opinion.
