Default WTB: OBD1 chassis harness, D adj. cam gear, EGR controller

Modifying this thread for how my list has evolved. I need:

1. Chassis harness for an OBD1 EG. Don't care if it has VTEC. I need the whole thing from the shock tower plugs to the ECU plugs.

2. Adjustable cam gear for a D series.

3. EGR controller from a 92-95 VX or a 92-95 accord. My only requirement is that it has to be OBD1.

When you hit me up with prices, factor in shipping to 49286.

I guess people aren't that into economy these days. Just wait until gas hits 4-5 bucks a gallon again. They'll be begging for econo swaps.

the end is near DOOM AND GLOOM BUMP

Hi, it's going awesome. How's it going with you? Super awesome I hope.

If the manifold comes with the EGR controller OFF THE FIREWALL, then I'll gladly buy it all from you. Make a picture of the manifold with the controller and I will make you nice offer.

Skeptical morning bump. Require coffee.

Ran into some confusion recently... The EGR valve on the manifold and the EGR controller from the firewall are not the same thing. Gotta have that piece off the firewall. Those of you holding out on me know what I'm talking about.

OK, so I would even take a Z6 harness (back to the ecu if you're parting something out) and maybe the O2 connectors (both sides) from an HX or something like that with more than 4 wires in the O2. Wiring up the EGR components I could do with extra pieces here and there from a scavenged junk harness.

I'm starting to think about writing my will in case this swap doesn't come together in time.

Any harness with VTEC plugs for an OBD1 will be sufficient, and as much of it as you can provide. Oh, and the EGR controller from an OBD1 accord would work too.

I hear you mister_scho. I recently bought a whole Civic VX for a whopping $900CAD. I plan to swap all the economy parts over to my CDM CX. Save 33% on fuel with a 10% hit in HP. Not bad.

You might be better trying the gassavers or ecomodder boards.

Yeah, no VXs in the states for 900 bones. Even the ragged out dead and dying ones will fetch at least 1500. I'm just going to build a custom harness using old school tuner awesome (and a z6 harness I bought on here). All I need now is a harness half from shock tower to ecu, and that will give me all the raw parts I need to build the new harness parts.

Then the plan is to buy a pass through harness so I can build the additional parts and run them by themselves back to the ecu, and the whole thing will be reverseable, and I can tap the pass through for an MPGuino.

But yeah, I'm on ecomodders and gassavers just trolling and reading. Lot of reading. Only really posting to find the final parts and a few extras. Hope they don't mind me trolling for parts more than adding to the community.

A dude on here tried to sell me one the other day. DAMMIT. I'll go dig through emails and PMs and see if I can find it. He really wants it gone too. I'm thinking you'll get a deal. Hold on.

EDIT: found intake, not exhaust

there's one on ebay right now for 50 bucks, but that's too steep for my taste, up to you though

why won't the CX manifold work? is the O2 a different size being a one wire? it's the same style as the VX with the cat right up front

CDM CXs got the D15B7 not B8. So, can't use reuse that. And the VX I got has the manifold already for the D15B7 - have no idea why, but my theory is a certain mechanic not familiar with the unique attributes of the VX, replacing the entire exhaust trying to troubleshoot an emissions problem. Everything else is stock, stock, stock.

Crappy.

Well, I have a CX, and if the 5 wire fits the bung, when I'm done with my swap, I'll ship you the manifold for the cost of the postage. But that all depends on when I get my parts squared away seeing as we're still driving the car to work most of the time. But you know, if you're still up ****'s creek in a couple weeks, I can hook you up.

Assuming the O2 fits. Never thought to try it until now.

Hey that VX header on ebay is located in Toronto, too. What really sticks in my craw is that domestic shipping w/i Canada is THE SAME PRICE as to the US. I call BS.

Plus, I'd like the cat to come with it, too.

Hey, that sounds great. I'd like the cat, too, and any bolts. I have time on my side. VX will be parked til I can get to it -- likely not until spring. Til then I'm just collecting parts, to the chagrin of my GF.

Edit: OK, np about the cat.
