My power steering pump is leaking. Goes through a bottle about every 2 months. The local shop wants $250 to rebuild it. I'd like to just get a seal and gasket kit and try to do it myself and save some money. Can anyone tell my if any special tools are needed to do this job? Special tools required to remove seals? I've searched this forum and couldn't find any step by step "how to" for rebuilding this ps pump. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Anyone? Is the PS pump even rebuildable? Or do I just have to replace it?

Its pretty easily rebuildable actually, no special parts or anything. Just take your time and use common sense. and, as 2ndgenguy said, 3geez.com
