Has anyone ever gotten the NSX-R black rooftop paintjob done on an ITR? Just curious to see what it would look like..

Are you referring to the black roof that was used on all 1991-1994 NSX's, except for a handful of green cars in '94?

Personally, on an Integra, it looks to me like cars where people crash and get a replacement panel from another car of a different color, and don't bother painting it... :thumbdown" ...but to each his own. (You may regret it when you go to sell it and find it cuts down on market value by a grand or two.)

It looks fine wingless with a CF hood, and Trunk. Outside of that, I'm not a fan.

 

unless you used black vinyl to do it. i've seen precut "black roof vinyl overlay" for sale.

 

kinda reminds me of the old school talons. red with black roofs. not my style, but looks alright i guess.

im painting my car today and prefer living it stock, looks cleaner and newer.

 

CF looks better.

 

Beware, if you leave that stuff on for a while, it can discolor the roof, not only because of the vinyl stuff but also because it can cause the rest of the car to change color due to sun exposure that differs from the part that's covered up. It's just like when you see trucks that used to have vinyl lettering on them, and even after the lettering is removed, the underlying paint is a different color from the surrounding paint.
