there is oil leaking from my distributor, i replaced the O ring already but still leaks a lot, a new one goes for $200 and thats how much my del sol is worth and looking at How To`s it tell u how to take it apart but it does not say what parts to use so if anyone has done it plase help, i have a d16z6; only part number i have found to replace is NOK BH388E, but there is no place to buy it, or if its a wrong number then let me know, thanks.

 

Is oil leaking inside the distributor or outside? For an outside leak, you must use the right sized O-ring to prevent leaking.

 

oil comes out from INSIDE! i was tripping out, i guess it goes trough the middle shaft, car does hesitate to move just a little bit but no other symptom other than loosing a lot of oil and oil stains everywhere i go.

 

HT member 94EG8 knows how to replace the internal seal in the distributor. You might want to PM him.
