78 cb550 tuning problems
I have a 1978 CB550 that i bought in sad but somewhat running shape. I bought a new not rusty tank and cleaned the carbs and put new gaskets in them.
After reassembling the carbs i have managed to set them to a point where i can reliabley start the bike but it is running very rich. ive tried adjusting the air fuel ratio but it seems so touchy that the slightest change throws it way out of whack.
I have a repair manual for it but the carburators on the bike in the manual are different then the ones on my bike. So i was woundering if there is a resourse out there with the tuning info i need for more then one carburator or if someone here has some suggestions.
thanks
