Default modifying integra axles for B16

I have a J1 tranny and have purchased 90 integra axles. HAsport says that in order for 90 integra axles to work mods have to be made to the axle and to the car.

I guess my question now is understanding what has to be done to the axle. I already took the dust shield off(which was about a 1/2'' ring on the wheel bearing, that just popped out).

So what exactly has to be done to the axle. When removing the spacer in the hub, how do I access it and can I just pop it out. What exactly is the hub. As you can tell this is my first swap and I just want to get it right. If any help any real pics of the hub on the axle and where the spacer is it would really help a lot. Thanks again for the help.

Default Re: modifying integra axles for B16 (90-CRXSi)

I did a B16 swap using the HaSport kit. I also have a J1 tranny and 90-91 Integ axles. BTW, my car is an 89 Si HB. I just dropped in the motor, popped off that ring behind the wheel bearing and put the axles in. It was ready to go. If you have an Si or DX, I do not believe you have to do anything else to the axles. If you have a STD of HF (CRX), then you either have to change the hub or change the axle end. Either way, looks like you have an Si, so you should be good to go. Good luck and may the Force be with you.

I was told the cv boots are binding up, probably because I didn't modify the axles. Anyone know how to do this, with better instructions than HASport.
