I have a 1989 honda civic hatchback and here is the problem i'm having. after reading all the posibilities here in the forum, i still don't get what the problem is... I have changed the IACV, CTS, fuel filter and nothing seems to help. I have also checked for leaks and still nothing...

all this came about when a new water pump and timing belt was changed. the car use to rev up and down really bad so that's when i replaced the iacv and it seemed like to calmed down, but once it warms up it does it again not really bad but noticeable. there are times i just tap the accelerator and it calms down and other times it won't. just the other day i ran the ac and was doing good and then it started to overheat. I just can't seem to figure this out... I'm asking for your expert advice on what else i can check that maybe i've missed...
