Hope that am posting in the right place.

I have a 2001 Civic Vti (1.7 Vtec) that just died! engine cracked (celinder), and I need to change the engine! the problem is that the car is imported and its really difficult to me to find one here (Spain) except new (5000€).

My engine is a D17A5, and couldn´t find anything on engine spares except a D14A4 (1.5 '98 Europe) Does anyone know if this one could fit!!

 

I don't know anything about the fitment of then engine, but the D14A4 is a 1.4L engine Non-VTEC.

 

^^ hhmmm, am almost sure its 1.5, and yeah its no-vtec , anyways i found a lot more of honda engines now, from accord to legend etc.. Does anyone know a swap engine list or something helpfull for my case. cheers
