Does anyone know the diameter of the stock exhaust pipe right before the muffler is clamped on? I am planning to buy an aftermarket muffler and I need to make sure I buy the right one. Thanks for the help!!!

 

Yeah its tiny as hell. Don't do it! It will sound retarded.
Save up some cash and get an ebay stainless steel catback.

It's less than 2 inches for sure. I want to say it's 1 3/4, but I can't remember off the top of my head.

If you buy a muffler with a 2 inch inlet, any muffler shop can make it fit by either using a reducer-type pipe, or expanding your stock pipe.
