Default 96 gsr what to do with it

i have a 96 GSR with the JDM ITR front end conversion and a jspec b18c, i want to get some good power out of it, but i dont really have the fund to turbo right now. but i could. what should i do with it performance wise, im open to any ideas. thankss

If you don't have the funds for boost then you definately will not have the funds for a good NA setup for any real power.

IMO you should save your money for boost if power is what you want.

If you want something fast for the money, might as well turbocharge it. You can peice together a good kit for around $1500-2000. Sometimes I also see JRSC superchargers used for about 1000-1500 which would add good power with a tune.

If you want to go with a mild all-motor you can figure skunk2 cams for about $500-700, camgears would be about $100-200, plus springs and retainers would be another 200-300, and this is assuming you have intake,header and exhaust already. A good tune should be $500 and under depending where. which would be equal to $1200-2000 and you can look forward to 210whp and under.

That turbo for the same price will give you over 280whp easy with a b18c.

i would enjoy the GSR for awhile and plan everything out for a mild NA or Turbo build i would go with I/H/E and some head work 200whp is fun to drive around
