I have a 97 Accord EX 2.2 auto with 199,000 miles on it. My tranny has developed what I call a shutter, especially in 2nd gear, feels like a miss but engine doesn't sound like it's missing. If I hold the brake while sitting still at a stop and mash the gas, I cannot feel a miss. Seems to shutter some while accelerating in all gears but it's a lot more pronounced while in 2nd. I have nearly new plugs, wires, cap, rotor. Plugs look good and I've cleaned EGR ports, which wasn't all that clogged. A week or so after this started I got a CEL light and it read P0141, O2 sensor bank 1, sensor 2. I've read the 2nd sensor should not cause it to miss or stumble, but it seems to have gotten worse since the light came on. My question is can the O2 sensor cause it to feel like this? I cleared the code and it came back within a few seconds. Thanks for your help!!
