Plz Help car wont crank wont start!
Figured you guys hads some ideas cus I am out. I just bought a 94 prelude and I noticed everytime I turned off the car the fans were still on. SO I when to my local auto store and bought a new fan switch. Immidiatley after replacing the fan switch I turned on the car, let it run and then turned it off to see if the fans would turn off. Well they didnt.... So I decided to call it a day. I went to turn on the car to move it out of my garage and it would not crank or turn over. I checked all my connections and at this point Im a lil confused and very frustrated. my whole dash alluminates when I turn the key but thats it. nothing else!
Thanks in advance for any help...

The fans are on relays. Normally, the driver side fan will go on/off depending upon engine coolant temp. The passenger side fan only comes on when the temp goes another 7 degrees or so higher OR when the air conditioner is running.
The fans are both independent of the ignition, so they may stay running after the car is turned off until the water temp drops below 165 or so. Also, the temp will run MUCH higher than normal if you are low on water. Don't trust the overflow bottle, remove the radiator cap and fill it completely.
Finally, the temp sensors operate relays that do the actual on/off switching. If the fans constantly run, you may have a stuck relay. They are pretty cheap ($10 each, I think).
The driver side fan relay is in the fuse box under the hood and by the windshield on the passenger side. The passenger side fan relay is the center relay (in a group of three) located immediately behind the headlight on the driver side.
