Default Difference between hatch's in 91?

I have a friend who has a '91 DX. My question is, whats the difference? Is it still considered an ef?

I'm trading my '97 camaro that doesnt run for it, and it runs. There's timing belt issues though. Oh well

negatory.

We tend to refer to our cars as EF's but only the jdm 88-91 civic's and crx chassis' had that designation. for the usdm market the code is ED. the wagovan's code is EE.

yeah we always call any hatch an EF because thats the chassis code they have in japan and sounds alot better than 'ED'
here USDM hatchback models are
ED6 = any 88-91 STD,DX or any non Si model
ED7 = any 88-91 Si models ...

but it would sound kinda gay to cal EFs EDs so just keep it EFs
