obd1 intake on obd2 motor?

Default obd1 intake on obd2 motor?

i heard that u could put a si obd1 intake many on a obd2 y6 y7 and 8 and it will make a night and day diffrents my qustion is will i get a check engin light and will this affect my gass milage
a nuther question will a d16 y6 dizzy fit on a y7 and can i run the y6 ecu on the y7 with no cheek engin light

your talking about a 92-95 civic Si engines intake manifold into a 96-00 civic? well it depends. the y7 intake manifold points upwards. The y8 points sideways like every other honda engine intake manifold. but can it be swapped out? possibly yes. Will it make a big big difference? hell no.. ITS A SINGLE CAM!
a y6? is there even such a thing as a d16y6? I heard of d16z6 and a6... as long as the distributor isnt obd1 otherwise you need to convert

yes a d16y6 exists i had one in my cx hatch, its a sohc v-tec.


as for the intake, yes it will work, some hoses may be different tho

fuel rails different. regulator's on the other side. just gotta get a couple hoses and a long one for fuel return.

ya but does it make a big enuf difference to spend 40-50 bucks to convert it or is it a waiset of time
i dont no alot about d16 i just got my b20 crx crushed by the callie man

just swap fuel rails.. instead of extended the fuel lines
