Alarm Feature Question
Hi,
Back in the day I saw a car protected by viper and when I saw this person approach a viper protected car the car gave him a warning saying like "stand back this is protected by viper".
Is this feature still available today and what is it called?
Also when the glass is broken both front and rear will it activate the alarm? Is this feature available since my glass was broken into and this is a priority and what is it called.
Thanks!

i dont know about that first feature, but i know for sure about the glass broken.
and i think its not about a feature of GLASS BROKEN, but juss being able to adjust the sensitivity of the alarm.
i got a clifford 12.5x matrix, which is basically as good as viper, since theyre both from direct electronics anyways..
but i just adjust my sensitivity of the alarm higher..and juss half way, if u BANG on the window, the alarm will go off

516v was the voice module back in the day
needed an dual zone radar sensor to work.
you need a glass breakage sensor....its a mic that "looks" for the frequency of metal on glass. just another level of security. be warned though birds can set it off too if your windows are down. also if you have your windows tinted changes the freq as well.

Yes, they still sell that peice and its still annoying as hell. I hate hearing warning protected by viper at 3 in the morning when a cat jumps on the car.
