rear disk conversion trailing arm bushing??
ok, i got a mystery rear disk conversion off of an 89 civic hatch at the junkyard. i need to replace the trailing arm main bushing, so i go to the dealer and get a set for a 91 crx si. the diameter is too small. so i go back, they check the integra bushing and the cr-v bushing, all too small a diameter. does anyone know what model, US or JDM spec, came with these large diameter trailing arm bushings? ANY help is appreciated! thanks- nick h.
Cant help you with finding a bushing. I wouldn't worry about it. on my 89 I just unbolted the four Torx head bolts, and the one nut off the rear trailing arm and removed the disks/ hubs off the arms. I let some penetrating oil sit on them sprayed from both sides as much as possible for a few hours, then they came out with just a bit a grunting. Good luck!
