Default Does OBD1 have the immobilizer unit?

I have a 2001 prelude that I am in the process of depinning basically everything since it won't really see the street anymore but this sucks. I want to put in a PAINLESS wiring system like I have in my camaro but I need to know if I still need the immobilizer unit and system when running an OBDI ecu, since I don't want to have to wire this into the PAINLESS system. Any help would be much appreciated so I can get done with this portion of my "build."
