I am currently in the midst of my own H23/Vtec Turbo build...
Here's my setup for forced induction:
H22 Head (port matched n polished)
H22 Cams
H22 Oil Squirters
H23 Block
H23 Crank
H23 Aftermarket Rods (recommendations?)
I'm stuck when it comes to piston choice.
Something with my gut feeling says not to resleeve the block for aftermarket pistons...
Which leaves me with 2 options.
Mahle Gold Series H22 Pistons or F20/F22c OEM pistons.
From my specifications and reading, a H22 piston on the H23 rods/crank will result in around 10:1 compression - which is not really what I'm after for turbocharging.
I've looked into the F22c piston specifications and found it is very similar to the OEM H23 piston which will give me around the 9:1 compression - much better for turbo.
I'd like to know your thoughts on running F22c pistons...
Also, are there any complications with fitting an F22c piston on a H series rod?
Thanks in advance.
-Steve
PS: I do not want to hear about the advantages/disadvantages of re-sleeving my block. I want to keep the FRM sleeves.

If someone could verify these details and tell me what the dome is on a F22c or F20c piston is, that would be a great help.
H23a1 Piston Specs:
Bore: 87mm
Stroke: 95mm
Compression Height: 30.55mm
Dome: -10.5cc
Wrist Pins: 22mm
Rod Length: 141.5mm
f22c Piston Specs:
Bore: 87mm
Stroke: 90.7 mm
Compression Height: 30mm
Dome: ??
Wrist Pins: 23 mm
Rod Length: 149.65mm
