hey there everyone! i just signed up for these forums, im 19, i live in canada, my father and I just purchased a 1982 Honda Prelude for $600, i had the engine put in just yesterday and she runs great! The front brakes are weak, and there are many things to be done to her, but all in good time. We look to do everything we can to the car in the next year, and when i emerge from college I will have my baby looking beautiful. For the year it is great, there is no under rust, and the body is descent condition although some fenders will ne replaced because of little rust spots right through at the bottom! here are some pics of it, let me know what you guys think!

 

Nice car! I think that it is really cool that you and your dad are going to clean it up. 1st generation Preludes are a very overlooked peice of history.

Well that looks good for an 82. I have owned mine since new and it is showing its age. Most of the damage is heat/UV since it lived in the South East US for the first 14 years of its life.
