Turboing An Integra LS
Ok I have a 94 integra ls with intake exhaust, cat and some other stuff and I eventuqally want to drop a turbo into it but before I do that I want to no what else to getfor my car to make it safe and realiable. As of right now I have 62k miles on my integra is that to high to turbo, let me know
thats low mileage compared to me and other who boosted out cars at 100,000+ miles. i slapped on a drag kit at 115,000+ miles.
do it, man! research... get educated... install it right... youll love it.

what type of stuff do i need though like fuel rail, regulator, injectors like that type of stuff. to make it safe. I no i am only going to run like 6-8 psi.
Some turbo kits come wid fuel rails and regulators, but id get the aem rail and adj regulator, you can run your stock injectors on them, and also you should upgrade your ignition system

Like everyone else said do your research and it will save you $$ and you will learn alot. Oh and if you feel like you have to buy a mod or two my highest recomendation would be suspension. Just please dont buy anything that u wont use with your turbo setup.
I dont know jack about this, but I knwo if I had the money I would probably put in some sleeves, rebuild the bottom end and put in stronger rods, ignition system, and some other things before id trust a turbo...
do a www.google.com search and find out a lot of information about it. Pros's and Cons's , maintenenace, how it works, cost. ect. Just like everyone else is saying.

True... but the ignition system isn't necessary. OEM setup can provide ample spark for most street driven turbo setups. From what I hear, adding an MSD or similar setup, can lead to more problems and its usually best to stick with stock.
