HELP: Car hesitates between 3000-5000RPM once warmed up
So i just swapped my Integra RS B18B for a JDM B18C1. When the car is cold and temp gauge is bellow 3/10 then the engine runs amazingly. Once it creeps over that mark the car will sporadically hesitate almost as if somone put a sock inside the intake.
SYMPTOMS:
-Car will sporadically loose power between the RPMS of 2500(3000) to about 5000, after which most of not all power is restored and the car pulls HARD!
-Only occurs when car reaches normal opp temp, if its not fully warmed up the car pulls great!
-No engine codes, fresh oil, full coolant, .etc
Cure:
???????
Thanks guys!

I have a very similar problem, I'm thinking its a bad temp sensor somewhere. I "had" a stock P28 in mine that I thought was causing the issue, but it's since been replaced w/ a chipped gsr ecu (with stock gsr map) and it still does it. I actually need to go out there and play around with that....
check the rotor in your distributor. my car used to hesitate after it was warm and seemed to only do it between a certain RPM range or when i tried to accelerate pretty hard from a stop.
i replaced the spark plugs, changed the fuel filter, replaced the o2 sensor, still hesitated. but when i finally decided to take a look in the distributor my rotor was all mangled to **** and the screw holding it in was just bouncin around not doing its job! i couldn't believe it. so yeah i replaced the rotor and the hesitating completely went away.
the rotor might not be your problem, but i would check it out anyway since its free and doesn't take long to do.

This one is not too bad, this one is actually from my buddies EG6 because mine died on me. So i borrowed his and when it came back to putting it on his car, his car ran like garbage so i kept it. Now i owe him one and this rotor's screw is stripped on..
