well, i was coming home today and turned on my ac. i noticed it wasnt blowing cold and it was already running for about 5 minutes. outside temperature wasnt hot either. in fact the sun was going down. and i just recharged my ac about 2 weeks ago. so i turn the ac off, then back on. all of a sudden this weird noise starts, like something is hitting a fan. like as if you turned on a fan, and threw a piece of paper into or something. i felt all the vents where the ac blows out of and nothing seemed restricted or anything. and it sounds like its coming from underneath my dashboard, more towards the glove box.

anyone know what happened? and how i can take my dashboard off to see what it is?

I had the same noise when my radiator fan broke and the blades started hiting the sides of it.
have you checked your a/c fan?

 

do you have anything stuck in the blower under the dash?

 

The blower fan is behind and below the glove box. Removal of three screws on the blower will allow you to drop it down to see whether an object is trapped there.
