Default '97 Honda Accord - possible head gasket leak

First, I've noticed the car starts off shaky for the first minute or so after I start. Then, my Accord recently overheated while driving. I've taken it in to three different mechanics and have been given three different opinions. The first thought it might be the fan sensors. When I brought the car into the first garage, they said the fans were working correctly. They thought it was a head gasket because they said their testing showed CFC's in the system. The next garage said they showed no signs of a head gasket leak. They tested the cooling systems as well and said no problems and told me to bring it in if it overheats again. I've been checking my radiator cap after driving and letting it cool for 20-30 minutes. The coolant bubbles over a bit after opening up the cap. This all leads be to believe it must be the head gasket. Could there be any other possibilities?

Thanks for your input.

The one way to tell if you have a bad headgasket is to start it up cold and watch the exhaust to see if it'll blow out white smoke. If so, then yes, headgasket is shot and coolant going inside the combustion chamber causing white smoke to come out from tail pipe.
