when i start the car, cel blinks normal, but when i drive it on the freeway or reach a certain speed or rpm CEL stays on, till i turn off the car, any suggestions what it could be? car has a jdm b16 swap on the car. lmk thanks


another question: i turn on my cd player on the car, and i dont hear any sound coming out of my speakers, just a low staticly type sound. i dont think its blown because i can still hear out of it? any suggestions would help thanks

 

i tried using the pin code on the passenger side, with a paperclip, but the CEL stays on and does not blink

 

When the CEL turns on while driving, pull over and leave the engine running while you jump the service connector. You should be able to pull the code this way.

 

so when it goes on, jump the connector while the engine is on correct? alright ill give this a shot. any suggestions about the speakers? thanks

Do the speakers work when the radio is on? If so, the cd player is likely the problem.

 

the speakers, just have a staticy sound, you can only hear it when the volume is on high though.
