Rear Caliper Replacement
I need to replace the rear calipers on my 1994 Civic with ABS. The brake hoses need to be disconnected from the brake lines since they screw directly into the caliper. Here is where the confusion sets in....when I looked at the manual it said that I need special tools to remove the lines/hoses on a car equipped with ABS, specifically a T-Handled Bleeder and an ALB Checker, there is no way I can get my hands on the ALB Checker. Can I disconnect the hoses and replace the calipers without having to worry about bleeding the ABS unit? And then just bleed the main braking system when the new calipers are installed? Also any tips or tricks on replacing the calipers and bleeding the brakes would be great.
Thanks
