Driver side window died, need help w/ diagnosis
So my driver side window will not roll down anymore. I noticed that it started to take quite a while for it to roll up, like it was struggling to get to the top. Little by little it became slower and slower and finally just died.
Does this sound like the motor, regulator, or switch?
Thx

That just happen to me and I tought the motor was bad.I took the liner out.And loose the track were motor holds in the door. And actually one bolt was loose.ans I tighted it.And works good now.
you could have an issue with your rubber window channels. if the window is binding in the channels, it will cause slow movement and could burn out the motor. I had this problem with mine
i would take the window glass out and try it again.
if it works then the window or regulator is binding
if it doesn't i would check for power and grnd to the motor.

It might be the regulator because it happened to my other car too. I was rolling my window down and it went ALL the way down for some reason and it just locked up. Replaced the regulator then it worked perfect again.
That thing was locked tight.

well mine did the same but the next day it worked fine. Only happened to me twice. one thing i did notice is the rubber where the window rubs on as its all the way up *dont know whats its called ><;* puts alot of pressure on the window. Should i go to honda/acura to have them do the lube thing or is it normal?

Get some Shin Etsu Grease, Honda SKU: 08798-9013. it may be expense, unless your parts guy is pretty cool and gives you the tube for free. Good on the rubber.
