So my friend last night said lets drive each others car, and he gets in mine and drives it five feet and runs it out of gas.
Now, i can't get the car to start, and I've put about another four gallons in the tank.
What the hell do I do to start it?

 

Possibly fuel pump failed???

 

How can you run out of gas? I fill up at 1/4 tank every time since it's better for the fuel pump. Running out of gas and running on fumes is really hard on the car. I see no reason to run it low. I've never even seen the gas light on any of my Hondas except for one.

 

Gas light wasn't available on the 95 and old civic.

 

Back to basics:
Do you have spark? Does the fuel pump prime? Is the CEL ON?

 

All this. Try turning the key to accessory II for 5 seconds before you turn it over to start. If you ran the lines completely dry, the fuel pump will take a few seconds to get gas all the way from the tank to the engine. During this time, you should hear a whirring from under the backseat. If you don't, it's probably your fuel pump.

Next, I'd check the fuel filter. You could have dredged up some tank sediment and clogged it. It's under the hood next to the battery.

If neither of those... well... clogged line maybe?

 

How can you not understand that someone can run out of gas? Or that not all of us are perfect as you are?
I tested as above average iintelligence but I've got mental issues and have run out if gas. Maybe it's my screwed up brain Maybe I was broke and couldn't fill up or or or. So now you know of 2 reasons someone might run it low.
It would be nice for you to understand some of us make mistakes and if you were more kind to us mere mortals.
