Mugen intake install help
Hey guys, I have searched and the most informative how-to for the mugen intake install by kkim doesn't have pictures anymore so here I am asking for some help. I have a 97 ITR with AC.
I have read that its a PITA to install but after some first hand experience this morning I can say that I have no idea how some of you guys who have the intake installed the darn thing. Some are saying they just had to bend the AC lines and it just slipped right in. My question is how did you guys angle the snorkel in there? Did you guys slide the snorkel down and slowly rotated it into place? Do i have to remove the entire tranny brace or just one or two bolts will be enough as it seems that's where it is being caught up. If anyone has some inside advice from previous installs would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Its easiest to start from the bottom up. Meaning, start with the snorkel and build up. Its kind of odd at first but you will see the logic as you build.
Here are translated instructions.

Enjoy.

get RIGHT....thank you so much for the translated instructions! really appreciate it. you wouldn't happen to have some pictures of what it should look like during the install would you?
Not to hijack your thread, but will the EK9 Mugen intake fit a DC2? It is only slightly different as it has a removable cover instead of the rear entry design for the filter. Anyone?
others can feel free to chime in
